Hoya: reviewers and testers round-up

Last but not least, here are the lovely versions of the Hoya blouse made by our pattern testers and reviewers!

Tester versions

hoya-1

Julie made her blouse in a tropical cotton voile, while our development manager Camille chose a casual gingham rayon.

Randomly Happy added bell sleeves to version B, for a very trendy result!

hoya-3

We love the fabric chosen by Bimble+Pimble for her blouse: office-appropriate, but far from boring 😉

hoya-4

The Sara Project went for gingham too, and her style is impeccable!

Note: pattern testers and reviewers

Our pattern testers have worked with us closely while we were developing the pattern, and provided feedback on the construction and fit. The projects shown above are final test versions that are almost equivalent to the final pattern!

Our reviewers did not take part in pattern testing, and so did not provide feedback during the design phase, but have received the finished pattern in exchange for a blog post. The opinions they express on their blogs (which we recommend visiting!) are their own, and we have encouraged honest and constructive criticism!

This is the last post in the series for the presentation of our spring-summer 2017 collection. We hope you find these versions inspiring, and don’t hesitate to share yours with us!

I’ve been eyeing this pattern since its release! It’s a little on the low-cut side for me but when you posted that great tutorial up last week on how to raise the neckline on the Hoya I’m back to SERIOUS pondering…I think I’m going to have to get a copy 🙂 I love your patterns!
