Since September 2012, when Deer&Doe was first launched, the internet has evolved quite a bit and it was time for us to get up to date! If most of the changes we have made are behind the scenes, we also have improved the design and accessibility of the site and online shop. Let us take you on a tour…
A few months ago, we updated our packaging and visual identity. In the same spirit, we put in place a coordinated design for the website and made it more modern and clear! The blog was revamped to put the pictures in the spotlight and to showcase relevant and high-quality content (popular posts, similar topics), and the shop now displays larger images so can see all of the patterns’ details :).
Our stockists list has also been improved so that you can find retailers more easily. Say goodbye to the long and tedious list, stockists are now displayed on a map along with a search box that lets you look up the ones closer to you.
Product description pages have been redesigned to give you all the information you need on a pattern. You’ll be able to learn everything on each pattern (notions, fabric requirements, but also finished garment measurements) in the Details tab below the pattern pictures. The second tab, Your Creations, showcases projects using this pattern that you published on Instagram!
A lot of you had brought up that the old website was hard to navigate using a tablet or a smartphone. We really made sure to develop an entirely responsive layout, which means that the layout adapts to the size of your screen to enhance your browsing experience.
