After the release of my first shirt pattern, Bruyère, it was time for me to work on a second one with all the classic details: collar with collar stand, sleeve cuffs and plackets, the possibility of a hidden button-band and lined chest pockets, Mélilot has them all! With its loose but flattering cut due to its bust darts and slightly cinched waist, it is as elegant worn over pants than it is tucked into a high-waist skirt. The drop shoulders give a casual-chic twist to the long sleeves version, and transform into cuffed short sleeves in version B: so retro!
With Mélilot, it’s all in the details: collar and sleeve cuffs are subtly rounded to make the shirt more soft and romantic, and the curved split hem has just enough asymmetry to make things interesting. And depending of what fabric and which variation you choose, Mélilot can have a wide range of styles!

Retro:). I’ve just received my patterns – thank you for your lovely speediness. Eleonore, you’re a magician. I never wear or make shirts, but this one won me over with its touch of retro. Your patterns are the best. I even finally bought Bruyere a little while ago – I don’t wear long tops but Camille’s ideas for a shirt dress and crop top were so attractive, and I am already cutting out a shirt dress:).
Don’t know if I ever commented on it – I liked the previous packaging, but I love the new. So much useful information. You must be the most responsive designer around, and I thank you for it.
