Magic is in the air, so fall under the spell of our new fall-winter collection. Evanescent creatures, misty spirits, mysterious covens… When days grow shorter, nights get longer and longer…

Though the Deer&Doe blog has been silent all summer, changes were bubbling beneath the surface as we were working on our two new patterns. This new collection is delicate, full of contrasts and fickle as the moon, enticing or serene but always enchanting… and after months of preparations, we’re happy to finally introduce Magnolia and Opium.

Magnolia is a mock-wrap dress that transitions from day to night. Version A has a spectacular neckline (designed especially to be worn without a bra), long sleeves, and a maxi skirt with a
slit that will surely turn heads! Version B has a more modest neckline, a short skirt, and breezy butterfly sleeves. Both versions feature a sash to tie in the back to showcase the waistline. Of course, these features can be mixed and matched to create the dress of your dreams!

Opium is a lined winter coat with a swing shape, raglan sleeves, and a tailor collar. Unique origami pockets complete the look! Opium can either be closed with discreet snaps (version A) or tied with a belt (version B).

Stay tuned this week for more details on Opium and Magnolia!

I’m so I love with the Opium- please, what fabric type did you use for the white version? It’s beautiful in that color….

I am so, so, so excited! I’m in love with Magnolia. I never buy patterns the second I see them, but I’ve done it today! Might hold off on Opium until I see how it looks on shapes like mine, but that belted version is beautiful.
