#Outfit# Camille’s Narcisse Pants

Since Eléonore shared her version of the Acajou pants, I thought I’d show you my latest project as well: a pair of Narcisse pants!

Narcisse is not our most well-known pattern (it stayed in the shadow of Myosotis and Nénuphar when it was released!) but I think it’s time to put it in the spotlight: wide-leg pants are very on trend this season and I think its proportions work particularly well with curves.

With this project I discovered moleskin fabric: a heavy cotton that is sheared on one side, which gives it a soft touch similar to velveteen (thanks to Village Fabric Shop where I found this fabric among their wonderful selection).

As my fabric was pretty thick, I chose to skip the front pockets. I also removed the buttons on the back welt pockets to get a more streamlined look. I find that these pants go particularly well with this eyelet Orchidée blouse (which I grabbed for myself after the photoshoot!) but they are also great with a t-shirt tucked in or a big cozy sweater.

Have you already sewn Narcisse? I’d be curious to see your versions!
